Incorporating many of the advanced features found on the SC-2000 and the popular Marco CP-690E and CP-770 Automated Chart Projectors, the SC-1700’s 36 individual chart selections and automated functions are instantly controlled by a user-friendly infrared remote control. Sophisticated masking features allow you to isolate and maneuver individual horizontal and vertical lines as well as individual letters, numbers, and characters. Additionally, each selected image or line is always displayed in the center of the screen. To prevent memorization, the SC-1700 also allows the operator to randomize letters and characters on any horizontally isolated acuity line.
Wide Range of Exam Options
The SC-1700 offers a comprehensive selection of 20/10 – 20/500 charts including standardized Snellen, Pediatric, illiterate E’s, numbers, ETDRS (Logmar), Polarized binocular and other clinically validated tests. Contrast sensitivity testing is also a standard feature on the SC-1700, providing the ability to measure contrast sensitivity at three distinctive levels below the normal threshold. A customized slide show option allows the operator to download a selection of 18 personalized images to promote or enhance the commercial aspect of a practice. Two individual programming options allow the operator to pre-program any standard sequence of charts or refracting routines.
